Ordering Information

Information Required for Ordering

Please be prepared to provide the following information when placing an order:

• Customer’s name and delivery address
• VAT Number
• Address to which the invoice should be sent
• Purchase order number, if your Purchasing Department requires one
• Product reference code and description
• Quantity required
• Delivery date if urgent
• Special instructions relating to delivery, packaging or shipping

Orders received via email or on-line will receive a confirmation of receipt within 24 hours. Faxed and postal orders will be processed and despatched without confirmation unless requested. We operate a minimum order value due to the cost of processing and packing, this has been set at £25 (the equivalent in € & $) excluding delivery and VAT.

Bulk Orders

We are pleased to offer unpublished discounts on large volume purchases, please email us at info@formedium.com with your enquiry.

Prices

Prices are shown in £ GBP for the UK and countries outside of Europe and the USA. Countries in the European Union have prices in € Euros and countries in the USA will have prices in $ Dollars. Value Added Tax (VAT) will be charged to all items delivered to the UK at the standard rate, at the time of ordering.  Orders exempt of tax are to be accompanied with an exemption certificate.

Delivery

It is our policy to maintain stock levels of our complete product range.  At certain times this may not be possible. We will make every attempt to inform our customers if an order will be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.  Once a UK order is ready for despatch, delivery is provided on a next working day service, via our courier; a signature will be required.  Deliveries outside the UK usually take around 3-6 days via our courier; if we have an email address our courier will send notification of delivery date and time.

Freight Charges

Orders within the UK

Orders within the UK with an order value of £300.00 or more (excluding VAT) will be delivered free of charge.
Orders within the UK with an order value of less than £300.00 (excluding VAT) will be charged delivery of £13.50.

Orders from the European Union

The cost of shipping orders will vary by destination and weight.
All freight and transportation charges will be quoted in advance and are clearly indicated on the invoice.

Orders from the US

Deliveries to the US start from less than $32. Formedium can assist you with or organise your US import permits
All freight charges are based on weight of order. Import tax is the responsibility of the purchaser and their clearing agents.

Orders from the rest of the world

Formedium deliver worldwide. Customs restrictions may apply so please do contact us if you have any queries.

Payment

Payment is required strictly within 30 days of the date of invoice unless alternative terms have been agreed. Formedium Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on overdue accounts. Our bank details are printed on each invoice and vary for GBP, Euro and Dollar invoices. When payments are made each individual company/establishment must incur their costs regarding bank charges or bank commissions.

Technical Services

Formedium Ltd has a Technical Service Department equipped with the laboratory experience, which is vital for responding to your enquiries.  You are our major source of information about product performance and actively encourage feedback.

Warranty

Formedium Ltd products are warranted to meet our product specification in effect, at the time of shipment.  Notice of non-conforming products must be made to Formedium Ltd within 20 days of receipt of product.  This product warranty limits Formedium Ltd’s liability to the replacement of the product only.  Formedium shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential or contingent damages.

Returns Policy

Due to the high sensitivity of our products we are not able to accept all returns.  Our commitment to product quality and performance superiority prevents us from reselling returned goods.  If you would like to initiate a return, please contact Formedium Ltd to obtain return authorisation.  Formedium Ltd recommends GLP (Good Laboratory Practise) at all times and that all products are sampled and tested to the client’s satisfaction prior to incorporation into existing and ongoing research.  In instances of purchasing errors it is our policy to deny return of products.

Conditions of Sale

In accordance with our Conditions of Sale, Formedium Ltd reserve title in the goods until payment is received.  (Please see the full Conditions of Sale). Claims for non-delivery must be made in writing within 7 days. Claims for shortages, damages or wrong delivery must be made in writing within 3 days accompanying this delivery note.

Product Use Limitations

Unless specified, all Formedium Ltd goods are sold for research and/or invitro use only.
