Following the great success of the 2018 meeting, plans for the 2021 Salk Cell Cycle Meeting have been announced. The meeting will be held virtually on June 22-25, 2021, hosted by the Salk Institute.
The meeting will kick off at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time on Tuesday, June 22 with the Newport Lecture, given by Sue Biggins (FHCRC). The seven thematic sessions spread over four days will cover: Growth and Proliferation, DNA Replication, Genome Stability, Mitosis, Cell Cycle and Development, and Cell Cycle Switches and Division. Each session will consist of long talks by invited speakers and short talks selected from those who submit abstracts. There will also be three poster sessions and a meet-the-speaker event. Each day will last 5 hours with several short breaks to allow people to standup and get refreshments.
This is the only major Cell Cycle Meeting held in the US, and given its virtual format and affordable registration fees the organisers are hoping the meeting will attract participants from all over the world. Registration is now open – click here for registration.
